One of the most successful ways to advertise for us has been Google Adwords (pay-per-click). Nothing else has worked better for us to bring qualified prospects to our site. With Google Adwords you make up your own budget, so you can spend as much or as little as you wish every month.
To set up a campaign you need to sign up for a Google account and once logged in you will need to type in an ad and select the keywords that people will need to search on Google in order for your ad to appear. Here we suggest you stick to just a few very specific keywords, such as “coastal vacations, coastal vacations home based business, coastal vacations call center, etc.)
There is a great e-book called “Get Google Ads Free!” that gives a lot of insight on how Google Adwords work and how anyone with a website can get Google advertising for free with the techniques that he teaches.
I read this book in about three hours. It was so interesting I didn’t want to let go of it. The techiques he teaches could be used to get free advertising for any business online, however, you must have a website that you can modify. If you do, do get the book and apply the techniques or have your webmaster do it for you. If you don’t have a website, get one! You NEED a personal website; not only the generic one that comes with a system. Those website are great but the give you little room to modify anything, but you need that one too. You need one that you can customize AND the generic. You need them both.
