The Most Important Lesson EVER!

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

This is probably one of the most important lessons we will have on this blog ever.

Building an opt-in list is vital for your success. People are busy, so they need to hear from you periodically or they will either forget about you and what you have to offer, or they will join your business, not with you; but with somebody that did stay in contact with them. So, make sure that you are always…ALWAYS building an opt-in list and that you are e-mailing your contacts on a regular basis with a good and reliable auto-responder system.

To build your list you will need a couple tools that are very cheap and easy to use. You need an auto-responder system, which will send your e-mails to your list with the click of a button. We recommend AWeber.Point blank, it is the most reliable program.

3 Tips to Improve Your Coastal Vacations Articles Visibility

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Writing articles and press releases is a very, very powerful marketing tool that could potentially drive tons of traffic to your website while making you an expert on the Coastal Vacations subject.

Use these tips to help you improve your articles visibility:

1. Use Your Keywords. What is the main subject of your article? Is it the Level 1, 2 or 3 packages? Is it the Sales Center? Is it Coastal Vacations? Whichever subject you choose to write about, make sure your keywords appear several times on your article. Don’t over do it, though, or it would be considered scam.

2. Submit to the article and press release submission sites. There are tons of sites you can use to submit your articles. If you are with the Sales Center group, you have a much bigger list in your back office. The most popular ones are:
a. www.ezinearticles.com
b. www.prwebdirect.com
c. www.freepressreleases.com
d. www.clickpress.com

Coastal Vacations Print Advertising

Friday, July 6th, 2007

Has anyone of you tried print advertising successfully? The internet is not the only place to find qualified leads. It’s all about getting the word out about your Coastal Vacations business until the right people find you. The more information about you and your business you have out there, the bigger your chance of success.

We heard of a Coastal Vacations director that made all of her sales just by having a pin attached to her shirt everywhere she went that read: “Ask Me About FREE Travel”. How creative is that?? We put a huge sign on the back of our vehicle with our website on it. If you let your imagination flow, really, the advertising opportunities are limitless.

We bought business cards and tickets from www.JumpstartCoastal.com and we had a lot of hits to our website and many phone calls from people in our area interested in what we had to offer. They have great quality print advertising such as biz-opp cards, brochures, flyers, tickets, and post cards at very affordable prices.

Are You On The Training Calls?

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

If you are not on the Coastal training calls of your group, then you are missing out. There is not another way right now to get live, updated information on what’s going on in the Sales Center -or any group you are affiliated with- and learn how YOU can improve your marketing tactics with new trends and “cool stuff” that are working for the major money-makers in Coastal Vacations.

Do you want to make money? Do you want to get your Coastal business to the next level? Then you will need to be on those calls. We hear some Coastal members say that they are just not making as much money as they want to make with Coastal, and the first question Matt asks is: “Well, have you been on the training calls lately?”. Guess what the answer is. NO.

Have You Seen Our Coastal Vacations News Video?

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

This is a great way to get people’s attention. Web 2.0 is the next new trend on internet marketing, and best of all, it’s FREE! If you have a webcam or just any camcorder, record a small video and tell the world how excited you are about Coastal Vacations and upload on YouTube. Tell your life story on your MySpace.com page and get a Squidoo.com page about your business. Telling your life story will get people to connect with you on a personal level.

This video we created a couple of months ago. We thought it was a neat idea to have a news release about us as directors and the Coastal Vacations business. I don’t suggest everyone gets a TedSaidIt video, but get ideas and be creative, there is so much you can do out there for free to market your Coastal business.

Get Google Adwords FREE!

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

One of the most successful ways to advertise for us has been Google Adwords (pay-per-click). Nothing else has worked better for us to bring qualified prospects to our site. With Google Adwords you make up your own budget, so you can spend as much or as little as you wish every month.

To set up a campaign you need to sign up for a Google account and once logged in you will need to type in an ad and select the keywords that people will need to search on Google in order for your ad to appear. Here we suggest you stick to just a few very specific keywords, such as “coastal vacations, coastal vacations home based business, coastal vacations call center, etc.)

There is a great e-book called “Get Google Ads Free!” that gives a lot of insight on how Google Adwords work and how anyone with a website can get Google advertising for free with the techniques that he teaches.
